TWCO Salvage DIVER

By TLex This is the new Salvage Diver from TWCO in the Netherlands. It follows in the footsteps of the Sea Rescue Diver and recently released Sea Rescue Diver TACTICAL, a natural progression in TWCO�s collection of dive watches designed for the toughest of marine environments!



Made from 316L marine-grade Stainless Steel, the Salvage diver which measures 43mm in diameter by 14mm thick with a lug to lug measurement of 51mm has a number of divers features such as its bidirectional internal bezel.



It is also fitted with a double-domed Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on its inside. Its Japanese made Miyota 9015 with custom TWCO rotor can be viewed through a Sapphire crystal exhibition caseback.



It has a water-resistance to 300 meters deep. Its dial is in matte black with white hands and markers that have both been applied with BGW9 SLN which emits a blue light.



The case with its polished and beveled edges has some familiarity about it but I can�t put my finger on anything specific.

TAG Heuer AQUARACER Calibre 5 Phantom ONE PIECE

By TLex Something fun from TAG Heuer Japan, who will be launching the 500 piece Japan Only Limited Edition model of the Aquaracer PHANTOM!

The Aquracer Phantom One Piece Special Edition Ref. WAY218D.FC6364 will be available from 17 stores across Japan from July 23rd.



Special features of the watch include: a sandblasted anthracite dial with horizontal streak effect, 9 main One Piece characters silhouetted in for red - Monkey D. Luffy, and blue for ocean meaning Friendship & Adventure.



Its case is 41mm in diameter in sandblasted black Titanium carbide coated Titanium Grade 2 with: compass design with the skull point implying north on bezel, unidirectional divers bezel with black faceted ceramic inlay with engraved, grey lacquered markers and SLN dot at 12 o�clock.



The bezel is also in black Titanium carbide coated. It wraps around an anti-reflective scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal.

Further divers features include: a sandblasted black Titanium carbide coated screwdown crown and caseback with engraving of 9 main One Piece characters. Its water resistance is 300 meters.

DELMA Shell Star AUTO

By TLex Introducing the new Limited Edition Shell Star from Delma, a divers model based on the Swiss brand�s first professional divers watch from 1975 of the same name �

celebrating a new partnership with the IMOCA Ocean Masters World Championship to become the Official Timekeeper of the Transat New York - Vend�e Race.



The original Shell Star had a water-resistance of 200 meters; a major milestone for Delma as it defined their divers collection over the next few decades.



The new Shell Star has retained its distinctively sporty appearance. Its 44mm x 12.7mm Stainless steel case is equipped with a Helium Escape Valve and has a water-resistance to 500 meters.

Officina Subacquea ARGONAUTH

By TLex I must admit, I don�t know that much about Offcina Subacquea. I came across them through Facebook either from an advertisement of by someone adding me to a group.

This is what I do know. The Italian dive watch brand is headed up by a Fabrizio Vallesi�s whose love of the diving combined with the use of modern dive watch technologies has resulted in the Argonauth �

Its specifications include: a 47mm in diameter case with: curved Sapphire crystal, a unidirectional bezel, a screwdown cashback and crown positioned at 4 o�clock and a water resistance of 1200 meters.



Power comes from a Swiss made, Sellita SW200 automatic movement. Looks pretty cool � always nice to see something different! ;)

DELMA Periscope AUTOMATIC

By TLex I�m not sure why Delma have decided to borrow rather than draw upon their own heritage for the new Periscope�s design �



which is supposed to echo that of their first dive watch of the same name from 1969. I�ve only seen pictures of the vintage Periscope, but there is very little if any resemblance.



The 1969 Periscope was a high water-resistant sports watch. It didn�t have a timing bezel either. I haven�t got a pic, but you could try and Google it.

It could possibly be likened to Zodica�s Heritage SEA DRAGON. Although I like the idea of a new Persicope plus one or two of its features such as the hands �



because of the poor choice of bezel inlay which is aluminum not even Sapphire; this one leaves scratching my head.

Here�s a quick rundown of the new Periscope�s spec. The case, which measures 45.5mm is in Stainless steel and is fitted with a Sapphire crystal.



There�s more Sapphire crystal round the back allowing you to see the Periscope�s ETA 2824-2 automatic movement with custom gold plated Delma rotor.
