Okay, let�s deal with the elephant in the room; Breiting have given this new Chronomat square counters! While some of you are gonna absolutely love them, many of you might be scratching your heads saying � why?



I appreciate the move to freshen up the Chronomat but the square counters just aren�t doing it for me � perhaps they�ll grow on me over time!



So what else is going on with this brand-new take on the ultimate sports chronograph? Its 44mm steel case has been treated by with a high-resistance carbon-based black coating as are many of Breiltling�s special editions divers.



The unidirectional rotational divers bezel now features black rubber-inlaid numerals, at 12 o�clock a large orange luminescent dot facilitates the countdown of dive time. The equally black dial boasts three new square counters; reminiscent of instrument panels, they are in line with Breitling aviation heritage.



Another brand-new feature is a special strap that combines a military-style anthracite high-tech fabric exterior with a rubber lining for excellent comfort.



Further featres of the watch include: screwdown crown and chrono-pushers, a water-resistant to 200 m (660 ft) and a Manufacture Breitling Caliber 01 self-winding chronograph chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute) - powered by a black rotor that is visible through the Sapphire exhibition caseback.

DEEP BLUE Daynight MIL OPS Diver TRITIUM T-100

By TLex Deep Blue presents its newest model, the Daynight MIL OPS Diver Tritium T-100.



Its 316L Stainless Steel case measures 44mm in diameter x 15mm thick with a lug to lug length of 51mm and a lug width of 22mm.



Power comes from a Citizen made Caliber 9015 automatic movement.



Divers features include: a screwdown crown and caseback, a Sapphire Crystal and a ceramic divers bezel with a Tritium Tube at 12 o�clock. Water-resistance is 500 meters / 1650 feet.



Its Sunray dual circle dial comes in either: back, blue, orange or white. The white version has a white ceramic bezel inlay to match. The black dial version can come with either bezel color.



There are Tritium Tubes on the dial, bezel, and hands: at the 12 o'clock Position there are 2 Orange Tubes. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 each have a single Blue Tube. While the hands have Orange Tubes, the hour hand has 2 and the minute hand has a single Orange Tube.

ORIS Carl Brashear LIMITED EDITION

By TLex To all the neigh sayers that said that bronze was just a passing fad that would never catch on! Oris is the latest big brand to get in on the bronze act with this lovely new 2000 piece Limited Edition Diver made in honor of Carl Brashear,



the legendary US Navy Master Diver whose extraordinary story was the inspiration for the 2000 film, Men of Honor, in which he was portrayed by Oscar award winning actor, Cuba Gooding Jr.



Carl was just 17 years old when he first joined the Navy in 1948; despite facing discrimination on account of his race he graduated from the Navy�s diving program in 1954. In 1966, he lost the lower part of his left leg in an accident during a mission to salvage a hydrogen bomb.



After an exhausting period of rehabilitation, he became the US Navy�s first amputee diver in 1968, and then went on to qualify as a Master Diver in 1970, becoming the US Navy�s first African American master diver. Carl Brashear retired in 1979. He died in 2006 aged 75.



ORIS have honored Carl Brashear with the introduction of their first ever bronze watch, the Oris Carl Brashear Limited Edition which is based on Oris�s popular vintage model, the Divers SIXTY-FIVE made from the same naturally aging material used for deep-sea diving helmets like the ones that Carl would have worn in the 1950s.



Its 42mm in diameter Bronze case will initially be bright and shiny, but will darken as its copper content reacts with carbon dioxide and moisture. This means each of the limited run of 2000 pieces will develop a unique patina over time.



Its unidirectional rotational divers bezel is also made of bronze, with a raised minute scale for tracking dive-time. Its Stainless steel caseback shows Carl�s helmet and his very personal claim � It�s not a sin to get knocked down � it�s a sin to stay down!



A Bubble-curved Sapphire crystal domed on both sides and a dark blue dial further the watch�s aquanautic character. Underneath this stunning dark blue dial is an automatic mechanical movement, an Oris Cal. 733, based on Sellita SW200, with a date at 6 o�clock. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters.

By TLex Introducing UNIMATIC and their debut divers model, the Modelle Uno. A Limited Edition of 300 pieces, the Modello Uno has been made in Italy in collaboration with leading suppliers ensuring the highest degree of quality at its price point.



Combing vintage styling elements with a performance driven design: it features a modest 40mm solid 316 Stainless steel case topped off by a larger 41mm unidirectional rotational divers bezel with coin-edging to ensure a firm grip.



The design of the 8mm in diameter screwdown crown echoes that of the fluted bezel grip. It has been fitted with a set of high quality gaskets, which along with a screwdown caseback and a double domed treated Sapphire crystal help to provide a water-resistance of 30 atm=300m=1000ft.



The water-resistance of each watch has been individually tested in UNIMATIC�s laboratory in Italy. The caseback has been engraved with some sort of conversion chart; the boffins among you will no doubt know exactly what it is ;)



The hands and dial markers of the Modello Uno have been applied with C3 Super-LumiNova lume which along with the anti-reflective coating of the crystal provide excellent visibility of the dial in all lighting conditions.



Timing accuracy is guaranteed by the Seiko NH35A automatic movement, which has been tuned to 21600bph with 41hrs of power-reserve and hacking seconds hand.
